Foleya Mountain Resort

This place offers a luxurious and serene getaway amidst breathtaking natural beauty. The resort is approximately 62 km from Trabzon and provides transfer services for guests' convenience. İt also features a fitness center, garden, shared lounge, and terrace, with free WiFi available throughout the property. The rooms are well-appointed with flat-screen TVs, satellite channels, minibars, kettles, showers, free toiletries, and wardrobes. Some rooms also offer balconies with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and gardens. The on-site restaurant serves Italian, Middle Eastern, and pizza cuisine, with halal options. The daily breakfast was great and offer variety of dishes (open büfe). One of the best locations for its spectacular views, clean and comfortable accommodations, and friendly, helpful staff. The PR manager there speaks English fluently and kept asking us daily (while having breakfast) if we needed for anything which shows high customer orientation.

They don't do the service unless called and only after a few hours 3) The payment wasn't very smooth. I was promised of a discount if I paid in cash, but it wasn't kept upon checkout despite me paying for the accommodation in cash. 4) Transportation is very good. Mr. Mesut (the driver) is a very nice gentleman. I had 5 trips with him (2-3 hours per trip). I would recommend him for trips to attractions like Uzongol. 5) Mr. Omer in the restaurant is a very nice chap as well. He is the only staff that speaks Arabic 6) Staff are very nice, but they don't speak English nor any other language apart from Turkish.

I initially stated that I would refrain from writing, but the service in this place proves to be excessively troublesome. This establishment has been constructed with great care amidst the magnificent beauty of nature. As we call a waiter in the café, he communicates with another staff member, says he does not to want to serve us. Unfortunately, nobody comes to assist us. Upon entering the restaurant, we politely inquire if the table can be cleaned. Instead of a direct response, the waiter instructs us to sit near the window. We patiently wait for this peculiar behavior, observing the waiter's deceptive actions. In a retaliatory manner, the waiter named Ömer informs us, 'If you happen to visit here around 6:30 in the morning, you will witness herds of squirrels and remarkably large rabbits. I will personally accompany you to that location.' We visit there in the morning and find nothing as we ask other waiters for clarification, they tell us they never heard of such thing. Ömer, the chief waiter, occasionally smoking a hookah during his breaks. Additionally, for breakfast, we are charged for scrambled omelette and eggs. Moreover, it is quite disappointing that the pita oven in the restaurant closes after 17:00. The dissatisfaction with the service seems never-ending. There is a masjid where the pictures show the qibla with a picture of the Kaaba are below the waist, they could not make a shelf above the waist, and Yasin is also below the waist. At least make a shelf for them. They have a very beautiful dog in a cage at the entrance of the facility, it stands in very bad condition next to noisy machines for 24/7. At least relocate his cage to a better place. Give him better standarts to live in. Also why sell Ülker Golf Ice Cream when there is other brands with better quality? Celal, Cemal, Sadenaz and Ebubekir from the staff were very kind and polite. They took really great care of us. Facility has outstanding views, great and clean rooms even though they are not soundproof.

They drive up at me and my husband, praying one minute and arguing the next. It took about 45 minutes from the bottom of the hill until the top of the mountain. In what I could only describe to a small, narrow roads of the that you would sometimes share with animals and farmers carrying hey, overlooking a gorge that leads to a river that if you fall, they would write RIP. once past all the scary roads you come to a resort so beautiful and breathtaking, you somehow forget about all the scary roads and the near death experiences and will take a deep breath in and your unwind and relax.
